Sublimation is not a new process. It has been used for decades in a large textile industry. New technologies, particularly piezoelectric inkjet printing, has made use sublimation inks in digital printing. This allows you to produce photo-quality themes, without the use of grids.
The greatest benefits of sublimation are:

Sublimation uses a temperature-sensitive inks capable of transmitting on special paper. After drying, the theme for the transmission of paper, sublimation ink heating in termolisu converted to gas, which has the ability to connect with polyester or acrylic surfaces of various materials. Such themes are made extremely resistant to wear, because the image is only skin deep, but the stained material in depth.
In general, dye-sublimation printing technology for use in one of the following conditions:
Material or coating is made of
- polyester (PES)
- polyamid (PA 6, PA 6.6)
- polyakrylat (PAN)
- triacetat (CTA)
Materials must be at least 65% of one of these substances.
